26 September - 8:30 AM  Eagle Lake Park
Eagle Lake Park: Meet in the parking lot Near Shelter #1 off 1800 Keene Rd Largo, FL. From the South Keen Rd is Starkey Rd. In Eagle Lake Park we will do about a 3-mile circle on a 10-foot wide smooth asphalt path. We will do the circle 3 to 4 times for 9 to 12 miles. Since we go past our starting point on each time around, it will be easy for people to do more or less times around. Click for a detailed map.
3 October - 8:30 AM  Lake Seminole Park
We meet at the entrance to the 2 mile oval trail at the back of the park opposite of the ball park. A beautiful and shady 2 mile smoothly paved oval trail. Those that only want to do 4-6 miles in the shade can stay and do the oval trail. Those that want to do 10-15 miles can continue on and do the Osceola High School route and get an extra good workout. Directions to Lake Seminole: The entrance to Lake Seminole Park is located off Park Blvd at 10015 Park Blvd, Seminole, FL. Plenty of parking and restrooms are available.  Map map.

Pass through toll booth ($0.75) and continue on over two bridges and take the Tierra Verde road heading south which is Pinellas Bayway S (Hwy 679). The Ball Field parking lot is open from sunrise to sunset. Restrooms and a drinking fountain are provided.  Click here for a map and scroll down for the map of Tierra Verde. We will do our old East Beach skate/bicycle route but start from the north end and avoid the new $5 parking fee for Ft. Desoto.
