19 Jan 2025 -  9:00 AM Ft. Desoto via Tierra Verde Ball Field
Meet in the Tierra Verde Ball field parking lot. Take Interstate 275 to south St. Petersburg and the Pinellas Bayway exit. Pass through toll booth ($0.75) and continue on over two bridges and take the Tierra Verde road heading south which is Pinellas Bayway S (Hwy 679). Keep going through Tierra Verde to 1420 Pinellas Bayway S. This is the parking lot for the Ball Field. The Ball Field sign says, "Tierra Verde Community Association Complex". The Ball Field parking lot is open from sunrise to sunset. Restrooms and a drinking fountain are provided.  Click here for a map and scroll down for the map of Tierra Verde. We will do our old East Beach skate/bicycle route but start from the north end and avoid the new $5 parking fee for Ft. Desoto.
 
 
 
 

26 Jan 2025 -  9:00 AM Long Center
Meet in the parking spaces on the north side of the building by the indoor swimming pool. The Long Center is located at 1501 N Belcher Rd between Drew St and Sunset Point Rd in Clearwater. Drew St is just North of Gulf to Bay Blvd, Hwy 60. Sunset Point Rd is the next major road North of Drew St. Belcher is the first major road West of Hwy 19. Parking at the Long Center is much better than at Safety Harbor Marina.
 
 
 

2 Feb 2025 -  9:00 AM Lake Seminole Park
We meet at the entrance to the 2 mile oval trail at the back of the park opposite of the ball park. A beautiful and shady 2 mile smoothly paved oval trail. Those that only want to do 4-6 miles in the shade can stay and do the oval trail. Those that want to do 10-15 miles can continue on and do the Osceola High School route and get an extra good workout. Directions to Lake Seminole: The entrance to Lake Seminole Park is located off Park Blvd at 10015 Park Blvd, Seminole, FL. Plenty of parking and restrooms are available.  Map
 
 
 
 

9 Feb 2025 -  9:00 AM Tarpon Springs, Old Train station
Meet in the parking lot on the West side of the Pinellas Trail, one block South on the Trail from Tarpon Ave. The Pinellas Trail goes down the middle of Safford Ave in Tarpon Springs.
 
 
 
 

16 Feb 2025 -  9:00 AM Pink Streets via Maximo Park 
We meet at the picnic parking area in Maximo Park. Take Exit 16 off I-275 to Pinellas Point Drive. At Pinellas Point Drive, turn to the West and into Maximo Park. Inside Maximo Park, at the Y in the road, go to the left and park in the picnic area parking.
