FRIDAY:
Afternoon skate at Fort Desoto.
Meet at 1:00 p.m. roll
out at 1:30 p.m.
Join Darry as he guides you through
our nations Top Beach of 2007.

FREE PRE-SKATE PASTA
DINNER
Meet the skaters and get your carbs too!
Join us Friday, November 21st at 6:00 p.m. in the "Great Room" at
Bill Jackson’s Shop for Adventure for our Pre-Skate Pasta Dinner. We
will be distributing our famous “goodie bags” and skate T-shirt
for this year. Also, you will have the opportunity to purchase any
last minute items you may need (i.e. blister kit, sunscreen,
hydration packs, wheels, etc).
Dinner is free for registered TrailSkate 2008 skaters, $10.00 for
family members and friends.
At 9 p.m., there will be a Night Skate leaving from the
Holiday Inn headed towards the Skyway Trail. Don't forget to
dress in your best Hawaiian attire! We will be giving away a
great prize to the best costume at the Nepa Hut after the skate
(lounge behind the Hotel). |

SATURDAY:
Registered skaters will
meet in the
Parking Lot of Shore Boulevard South in Gulfport, by the
Beach Park at 7:30
a.m. for charter bus transportation. The
shuttle bus will be leaving
at 8:00 a.m. to the beginning of the skate in Tarpon Springs.
For those sk aters
doing the 1/2 skate, the bus will be headed to Taylor Park .
We begin rolling at approximately 9:30
a.m. and skate South toward our destination back to downtown
Gulfport.
Helmets are mandatory and
are to be worn on one's head and not about
the waist. All other safety gear is highly recommended. |

Big Luau at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort, After the
TrailSkate, 7 p.m.!! Come relax and enjoy a fun night
with good food and great views of the bay. This is where the
laughter, back slapping, and exhilarating tales (lies) of the day's
successes and foibles get told. The Luau is free for
registered Trailskate 2008 skaters and $45.00 for family and
friends. |

SUNDAY:
Skating and/or Kayaking
This year the choices for fun are kayaking with Bill Jackson's and
friends or rolling with the Sunday Bladers.
Whatever the choice fun
will be had by all.
All Skaters and Kayakers please meet out front of the hotel at
8:30am. Rollout time is 9:00 for both!
Skating..... By 8:30 a.m. meet in the parking lot of the
Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort. There we will meet up and skate
south on the trail towards the Skyway Bridge and then Pink Streets.
9:00 a.m. rollout.
or Kayaking...... After we arrive at the
end
of the trail (at Blackthorn Memorial Park), you can either skate back to the hotel or jump into
one of the Kayaks and paddle back to the Holiday Inn Sunspree
Resort. Either way, don't miss out on this opportunity of a
great afternoon by the water. There will be a vehicle there to
bring your skate gear back to the hotel.

-- DETAILS, Kayak rental includes:
8:30 am: Meet outside hotel lobby with your skates and personal
kayaking gear. Grab a free bag and put your paddling gear into it.
Put bag with name tag into transport vehicle. We will transport your
gear to launch site.
9:00 am: Skate out to the kayak launch site which is Blackthorn
Memorial Park.
At the park, grab your bag and swap your skates for paddling gear.
Put your bag back in the transport vehicle. Your skates will be
waiting for you at the hotel.
-- DETAILS, If you are bringing your own kayak:
Please drop your kayak off between 7:30-8:00 am at Blackthorn
Memorial Park. We will have someone there to watch the kayaks. You
need to be back at the hotel by 8:30 am.
8:30 am: Meet outside hotel lobby with your skates and personal
kayaking gear. Grab a free bag and put your paddling gear into it.
Put bag with name tag into transport vehicle. We will transport your
gear to launch site.
9:00 am: Skate out to the kayak launch site which is Blackthorn
Memorial Park.
At the park, grab your bag and swap your skates for paddling gear. Put your bag back in the transport vehicle. Your skates will be
waiting for you at the hotel.

Ability to swim. The only thing we like to see sink is an anchor.
