Pass-a-Grille, 8th Ave

Another Beautiful Day in Paradise. It was in the low 60s and very nice except for that North wind. We did the normal Pass-a-Grille route. Except for fighting the wind on occasions and Deb B's crash at 17 mph the skate was uneventful. Deb has some skin missing on several places but other than that, she said she was okay. Dee indicated we bladed 9 miles. We had some visiting skaters from Belgium: Roger and Gaby. John L brought Susan. Karen S was back from traveling. Welcome new and absentee skaters. Mike M. renewed his sponsorship a couple of Mondays ago. Birgit renewed her sponsorship last Monday. Karen S and Deb B renewed their sponsorship today. Thanks for the web site support bladers. Gaby and Roger gave me their Belgium skating web site: www.lommel-inline.be/ Since I can't speak the language I had a hard time navigating it.

We Brunched at the Frog Pond as planned. They don't take reservations but we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes or so to get seated at 3 different tables. Service was about normal except Jeff and Dee got their food before we put our order in. We got in and out in about an hour. Rob and one other person at our table rated their Brunch a 9.
Two other people rated theirs a 9.5. We'll give them a 9.2.
