John Chesnut Sr. County Park

Another Beautiful Day in Paradise. It feels like summer is here again, hot and humid. Our little group did a sweep through John Chesnut Park, did the smoooooth shady streets of the north neighborhoods, then headed north on the trail to a construction area and back to John Chesnut Park. Brian B joined us after an absence. Welcome back Brian. Per Dee and Brian we did 11.5 miles overall. The picture taker today took the group picture with a smudge on the lens and forgot to take a Brunch picture. In desperation, took pictures of Rob on the 49th St bridge. Two pictures with no head and a nice back shot. Fortunately finally one that was okay. Only ran two other cars off the bridge while taking pictures.

Brunched at Eve's as planned. They were packed but we got right in with our 15 minute advance reservation. In spite of the large crowd, we got served pretty fast. However we had to beg for water and coffee refills. Rob and Brian rated their Brunches a 9. Heard one 8.5. We got in and out in about 45 minutes which was great considering the initial large crowd there.
