Clearwater Beach

Another Beautiful Day in Paradise. However it was beautiful at 8:30 AM but clouded up for our skate and then cleared up again afterwards. The streets had many wet spots in them when we started but dried up by the end of the skate. We had 3 people do the Clearwater Bridge. Took our group picture before they did the bridge so we wouldn't have any bloody people in the picture if doing the bridge didn't go well. Fortunately the bridge skate went without incident. Birgit got up to 25 mph going down the bridge. Much to our delight, our 3 mile skate on Island Way was on new-smooooth pavement. Dee indicated the total skate was 10.3 miles. Ellen, Dennis and Laura joined us after being absent for a while. Welcome back. Edward F. skated with us for the first time. Welcome Edward.

We Brunched at the Georgie Boy Restaurant as planned. They had a big table set up for us when we got there. It was a nice/clean big restaurant and was only about half full. However by the time we left, the place was packed with a big group waiting to get in. Our service was very good. We got in and out in an hour and 5 minutes which is good. Our Brunch Rater, Rob, was missing so we took a survey from several people. Our end of the table were 9's but the people at the other end didn't like the pancakes and give an 8. We'll give them an 8.5.
