John Chesnut Sr. Park

Another Beautiful Day in Paradise. The new route to Lansbrook Lakefront Park worked out wonderfully. The roads had been newly repaved and were heavenly smooth. John A said the roads were the best he has skated on so far in the St. Pete area. The new route added 5.3 scenic miles to the skate to make a total distance of 13.8 miles. Sherrie D., Herb, Terry B., Herman and Linda S. joined us after an absence. Welcome back skaters. Herb, Terry B., Sandy and Glenn renewed their Sponsorships. Sherrie D. became a Sponsor. Thanks for the support skaters.

We Brunched at Eve's Family Restaurant as planned. Why the restaurant address is 3150 Tampa Rd when it is located on Curlew is a mystery. A few people got lost on the way but all finally arrived. Eve's had standing room only but had reserved our usual table group in the back room and were ready for us. They gave us pitchers of water and coffee which made getting drinks very easy. Rob rated his Country Skillet a 9. It was pretty big but he managed to make it disappear. We got in and out within an hour.
