Safety Harbor Marina

Another beautiful day in Paradise. It was almost cool this AM. Birgit lives close by so she skated to the skate. Charles, Deb B and Scott were late. Charles and Scott missed the group picture at the fountain. Scott finally caught up to us at the Long Center after about 10 cell phone calls. Sandy and Suzanne came after a few weeks absence. Welcome back girls. Janice, Karin and Steve are nursing injuries. Get well soon skaters. Bruce found out why his right skate was making a clicking noise. The rear frame nut was loose and fell off during the skate. It was okay as he still had the front bolt holding the frame on.

We brunched at the Paradise restaurant instead of Athens. Athens looked like it was in a major rework and had the windows papered over. We got into Paradise without a reservation and all sat at the same table. Janice joined us for Brunch. She’s getting ready to go to her 40th high school class reunion. We got served and ate in about 30 minutes and were out of there in 45 minutes. I never got my coffee refilled and couldn’t find the waitress to get some hot sauce. My and Terry’s Paradise Omelettes were big and had lots of good things in them but were a little over cooked. Rob rated his Brunch an 8.5.
