Upper Tampa Bay Trail,  Pool Party at Charles C.'s

Another beautiful hot and humid day in Paradise. Vivian had scouted out the Upper Tampa Bay Trail at 6:45 AM and gave us the clear sign to blade. She said there might be a few damp spots and there were in the shade. The Holland girls were back and said they had a great time and it didn’t rain as I had told them it would. Ken and Monica did the Upper Tampa Bay Trail with us for the first time. They gave it a thumbs up. Rob, Joe, Denise, Scott, Terry and Danny joined us again after an absence. Welcome back.

We Brunched at the Garden Grille as planned. We had quite a group for Brunch but they got us in and seated at 4 tables near each other. As usual, some of our tables got served almost instantly and some at the normal pace. It gave me time to pass out maps to Charles’s house. Since Rob H. wasn’t with us, I started a survey for the quality of the Brunch...... a 12, the best omelette I’ve ever had, wonderful and on and on. Well Jeff said it still wasn’t Doe Does but he had a smile on his face. I had the Sunrise Fiesta Omelette and could only finish about 2/3 rds of it. Just now finished it (while I’m typing) and it was still wonderful. Believe this is the highest rating we have had all year. Thanks Karin for picking out the Garden Grille.

The Pool Party at Charles was great as usual. Believe the hit of the pool was Charles’s floating alligator. Crazy Rob attacked and killed it 3 different times. Janice showed her Holland Skating pictures. They brought back fond memories of my bike and barge trip in Holland. Thanks again Charles for a nice social.
