Tarpon, Old Train Station

We had another great skate in Paradise. However the beginning was a little shaky. Called our Tarpon Weather man, Herb, and he indicated it was going to be a good day to blade. As I headed up from St. Pete, the skies were pretty ugly and I began to wonder. The closer to Tarpon, the better the sky got and was a beautiful blue over Tarpon. The sun was out and we bladed. After much discussion, we headed North to the North End with the usual side trip where we took a picture. We picked up Glennis on the way back to the parking lot and some kept going to the overpass before turning around again. Glennis, Suzanne, Herb, Sandy, Mary and Herb joined us for the first time in a while. Welcome back bladers.

We brunched at Danny Kay’s as planned. We got a hodge-podge group of tables but managed nicely. Danny Kay’s got off to a slow start serving us but picked up speed and did a good job. Rob rated his Ultimate Omelette a 9. Many others indicated at least a 9 or better.

Several bladers went on to enjoy the Tarpon Art Show after Brunch. The Art Show had lots of Art and Food.
