Straub Park Downtown St. Petersburg

Another good turn out at Straub Park. We had to share parking with the Bay to Bay Runers today but got to enjoy the decorations set up for the finish at the Pier. After doing the Pier we tried to get to the Grand Prix Race Course but couldn’t get their because of the runner’s course. We headed West and did Mirror Lake, then onto the boat ramp at 30th Ave and then a little bit of Snell Isle. Ken & Monica skated. They didn’t do the full blade but it was good to see Monica out after her car wreck. Michelle, Vickie and Tim from Indiana came. Lori joined us again. Vivian and Gary joined after missing a while. Welcome back Monica, Michelle, Vickie, Tim, Vivian and Gary. Brian and Danny were late and missed the picture.

We Brunched at Gold’s as planned. We were a little concerned about the crowd downtown but it was not a problem. Our table of 20 took up practically one whole room in Gold’s. It took a while to get all our orders in and getting served but we had a gala time in the mean time. Brian had the honor of being served last and most people were done eating by the time he got his Brunch. Rob rated his Brunch a 9.5 and all of the people around him agreed. Several of the girls had to have their picture taken with the statue in front of Gold's.
