Curlew Rd & Alt 19 on the Trail

Today the forecast was perfect: Just the right temperature and no wind. Not sure what it was blowing out of the North at 10-15 mph but it sure felt like wind. Headed North into the wind. We ended up in 4 groups. One group turned around at Wall Springs, one group at the Tunnel, one group at Klosterman and the hardy group somewhere in Tarpon. Lori F. joined us for the first time. Welcome Lori. Rob (the pilot), Pete, Tim O., Kirk P., Glennis and Jack S. joined us today after missing for a while. Welcome back bladers. We took the group picture at the overpass but missed Brian, Vickie and Tim K.

With the groups strung out, it was a little difficult to figure out what to do about reservations for Brunch at Benedicts. Not a problem they wouldn’t take reservations for 20. Thirteen people were hungry so we just headed to Benedicts. The last group arrived 30 minutes later, which worked out great. Every one sat pretty close but Vickie and Tim. Somehow I missed their table in the Brunch pictures but got Vickie along with one of the tables. Sorry Tim K. We basically overpowered Benedicts with our group of 20 people Brunching. However Benedicts managed fine and we got lots of good food. Almost everyone at Robs table rated their Brunch a 10. I heard elsewhere a couple of 9’s but nothing lower.
