Taylor Park

It was a beautiful day today. Almost everyone was at Taylor Park by 8:45 AM. We had a great turn out, 22 people. Charles missed the picture but caught up with us on the trail. Three new people came: Pete, Carol & Brigit. Welcome new bladers. Bill came for the first time in a long time. Welcome back Bill. Eight people renewed their Sponsorship: Ken & Monica, Jeff & Darlene B., Joe & Denise, Janice, Mats. Thanks for renewing bladers, it keeps our web site going. We headed North today. Some made it to Main Street (7 miles) and some turned around earlier.

We brunched today at the Skinny Rooster as planned. Unfortunately they only had a buffet available for $12.95. Everyone was hungry, didn't blink an eye and got in line. I still apologize for the buffet only but none of their literature says buffet only on Sunday. Most everyone just took it in stride and thought it was nice to do something different. Ken and Monica joined us for brunch. They were going to blade afterwards. We celebrated Suzanne G's birthday today by loudly singing happy birthday to her. There's no doubt everyone there learned it was Suzanne's birthday. Several people thought the food was very good. Several others, including Rob our official brunch rater, thought the food was only an 8. The medium rating and the fact that not everyone likes to eat that much, basically removes the Skinny Rooster from our restaurant list.
