Ft. Desoto SpringFest Picnic with the Snow Sharks

Summer has arrived. It seemed like July at Ft. Desoto but it only got up to 89 today. We had a nice breeze out of the East North East during the blade. That was about the best direction it could have come from. Scott, Sam, Dee and Joy joined us. Welcome Scott, Sam, Dee and Joy. We made a stop at the boat ramp and giving your head a shower there felt mighty good. We cooked hot dogs on the grill at our picnic. Actually Kyle even brought hamburgers. Kyle I have your hamburger turner and someone else's hat that says Tide Racing 32. The breeze held up for our picnic and it was very pleasant and social under Shelter #4. As a point of interest, we had more Sunday Bladers than Snowsharks at our picnic.

We noticed that Ft. Desoto was filling up by the end of the picnic. To our amazement, there was a two mile long line of cars at the toll booth coming into Ft. Desoto and another 2 mile long line of cars backed up at the bridge that opens for the boats. Looks like you will need to hit Ft. Desoto early in the day for the rest of the summer.
