Ft. Desoto, Bay Pier

It was pretty close to tee shirt temperatures today. There was a pretty steady wind out of the S-SE. We did the Western portion of Ft. Desoto first and then the Eastern portion. Linda & Brian brought their grandson Collin. Linda & Brian also renewed their sponsorship. Welcome back and thanks for the renewed sponsorship. Gerald, Sam and Dee joined us today for the first time. Welcome Gerald, Sam and Dee. Sam & Dee are Monday night bladers. We Brunched at Shipside Cafe as planned. There were very few parking places that didn't say Tow Away Zone and Shipside Cafe was hopping. It took a little time to get waited on but the food was worth it. I had a Farmers Omelets with Salsa on it which was absolutely fantastic. I gave it a 9.5. Rob had a Carriage Omelets which he rated a 9.

Thanks also to Lord Paul who salvaged my screwed up computer last Sunday night. It seems to be working wonderfully now and should last a few more years at least.
