Longboat Key and Taylor Park

Submitted by Bruce: Today it was a little nippy at 9 AM. Later in the day it warmed up to tee shirt temperatures. We had a little wind out of the south against us at the beginning but it was great on the way back. Mike M. joined us today. Welcome Mike. We brunched at Isabelle’s. They were pretty busy and it took quite awhile to get served. However the food was very good. Overall we rated them an 8.

Submitted by Deborah D.: The Sunday "Back Up" Blade Group Report
While the regular Sunday Blade skate friends headed to Long Boat Key, five skaters opted for Taylor Park instead. Rob, Roy, Deborah B., Karin and Deborah D. headed north to Dunedin with a little wind and nearly perfect weather. Some skated 15 miles round-trip to Dunedin and others turned around after 5 miles. All worked up a good appetite and enjoyed breakfast afterwards at West Bay Diner (formerly The Apple Cobbler). Service was prompt and friendly. Rob rated brunch a 9. Everyone agreed. Special thanks to Deb. D. for this report and Deb B. for the Taylor Park photo (Blue Shadow).
