Safety Harbor Marina

Today was not what you would call a good day for blading (cold and windy). Fortunately Janice sent out a notice we would not blade at Safety Harbor but have Brunch at Doe Doe's at 9 AM. Seven hardy soles braved the elements and met at Doe Doe's for Brunch. We had a nice social brunch which we rated an 8.5. Naturally most of us had packed our blading gear in our cars out of habit. As we sat their, the urge to blade become over powering. Us guys suggested we all pack into Bruce's Van and drive to Taylor Park. We would then blade south back to Bay Pines Plaza with the wind at our backs. "It would be fun and easy." Deb D. and Karin were unconvinced at first but we won them over. Several were not dressed to blade but we fixed them up. Afterwards Deb D. and Karin agreed the blade south with the wind was a lot of fun.
